From the first page of this book I was hooked. The first chapter had my jaw dropping and tears forming already, letting me know this was going to be a heart-wrenching and amazing read. I was not disappointed in the least. This book was a beautifully written masterpiece in itself. The characters are well-developed and some are damaged in ways you could never imagine or want to know. When the story began I thought I already knew how it would end, but there were plot twists and surprising moments that I didn't see coming. The author did an amazing job of delving into a twisted mind and making you feel the many emotions throughout the book; fear, anger, hopelessness, love, empathy, and even some optimism at times. Some of the descriptions kept me from reading late at night because it gave me the creeps and I knew I'd never sleep if I went to bed thinking about it. The overall mood of this story is pretty dark and twisty, but there is a romance aspect to the story that lightens the mood at times too. I'm surprised I could write this much of a review because in truth the book left me speechless. This is the first book I've read by this author (I think it might be her first book altogether) but I definitely want to read more of her work! In summary: Fantastic book....Go read it now
You can find Genevieve curled up reading paranormal romance and romantic thrillers, or frantically typing her stories on her laptop.

Psychology is her trade by day, teaching and molding the minds of college students. Her interest in psychology can be seen in her books, each including many psychological undertones. Although she loves teaching,  her passion, her true love, lays in the stories that roam around her in head. Yes, they all come from her mind--the good, the bad, and the totally insane.

She lives in Massachusetts--no not Boston-with her husband, daughter, and American Eskimo dog. With each story she shares, she hopes her love for writing and storytelling seeps through, encompassing the reader and leaving them wanting more.
