Graham Hodson lives for adventure. His entire life has revolved around his obsessive wanderlust. His inner fear of staying in one place or being with one person for too long has kept him on the go. The last thing he expects is a sudden diagnosis to ground his travel—permanently.

Boyce “BC” Brooks has screwed up his lifelong dream of being the captain of the English national rugby team. He’s lost everything. When his uncle leaves him an inn and a dog in Cornwall, he has little choice but to try his hand at innkeeper.

Can two jokesters kicked around by life and their own decisions find stability when their world shakes beneath their feet?

5/5 STARS!

Dahlia Donovan has become an author whose books I would read without knowing what they’re about. She has a wonderful way of adding the right amount of humor while weaving a beautiful romance. Her book, After the Scrum, was my first M/M romance ever and I’ve been hooked to the genre, and this author’s works, ever since. I loved getting to see how Caddock and Francis and little Devlin are getting along in this story. BC and Graham may not have a whirlwind romance with all the gushy moments and grand gestures, but they have something real, something strong, and it comes with challenges, just the way relationships do in real life. I knew something was coming, but I wasn’t sure what. When the reveal came, it was a rough road of emotions from there! I love all the little phrases in here, many I had to look up, and I love the little jabs and teasing between all the friends. Rupert and Graham have a relationship that reminds me a lot of my younger sisters who are twins as well. It was endearing and fun to read about at the same time. This was a beautiful story with a well thought out ending. I look forward to reading more from this author!

Dahlia Donovan wrote her first romance series after a crazy dream about shifters and damsels in distress. She prefers irreverent humour and unconventional characters. An autistic and occasional hermit, her life wouldn’t be complete without her husband and her massive collection of books and video games.
