This was the first book I've read by this author and I'm a fan of her writing style! I love that we get a view inside Branson's mind as well as his mother Tara's. The author does an amazing job of making the reader feel the emotional turmoil of a mother wondering what she might have done wrong in raising her son. Was there something she could've done differently to protect him? And then to see the opposite side with Branson fighting with his own mind, unsure of what is real and what his mind is making up. This book is so well written, and it keeps the reader guessing as to what will happen next as they too will question what is real and what is Branson's delusion.
